Should you need to postpone your cake order or any other food item between the months of May-July 2020 and your event due to the Coronavirus, or you need to be in isolation, your deposit is non-refundable but can be moved to an alternative date, the same applies if your event is cancelled your deposit is non-refundable. I will require 7 working days notice or payment in full is required.
I maintain a 5 star rating from my local council and a up to date Food, Safety and Hygiene Certificate and a Allergy Certificate.
Consultations are conducted for all wedding cake inquiries. 5 flavours maximum of cake tasting samples is provided at your consultation for which a fee is chargeable or you can get a sample box sent to your home address and taste at your leisure.
We ask for approximately 1 month's notice if possible for celebration cakes and 6 months for wedding cakes, however, depending on our schedule, we may be able to accept a booking at shorter notice. If your cake contains fruitcake layers with alcohol these will be baked well in advance as time is required to feed the cakes with alcohol so that the cake matures properly. All Sponge cakes are baked the week of your event to maintain freshness.
Securing your Order
When placing an order with us, your order will not be confirmed until you have paid a 50% required non-refundable deposit. The balance will be due 1 week before the collection is made. All cakes (with the exception of wedding cakes) need to be picked up by the client or by a representative of the client, at which point the client or representative will be asked to sign a disclaimer saying they have picked up the cake in perfect condition (unless we are asked to deliver your cake, for which there is a charge, please ask if at the time of booking if you wish to use this service). Payment via online banking or PayPal (an extra fee will be added if PayPal is used as they charge for using this service) is accepted.
7 working days notice is required or payment in full.
It is advised that wedding customers take out FULL wedding insurance to cover any and all unforeseen circumstances which may affect your celebrations.
